Once in awhile, the meaningless jokes you say actually hurt me.

Bullying. is a worldwide problem, it happens absolutely everywhere. 

To anyone. Bullying is one of those things adults say is just a part of growing up use it, make yourself stronger, we can end if we try, but bullying is never going to end. Whether its the clothes you wear or the grades you got, who you like or your sexuality, bullying is cruel. Bullys are cruel. I don't think we will ever understand why someone becomes a bully, unless we become one ourselves. Some say it's because the bully was bullied. Well if they were why do they have to make someone else feel small if they themselves know what it feels like. It's a never ending cycle. the bullied becomes the bully and so on. Sometimes it's harmless, the bully doesn't know he or she is bullying. It could be a joke you say, or a name you call someone. They might not know they have taken it to far, well you never say. If you have been bullied it will change your life, the way you look at things, who to trust. It will tear you down. It is estimated that more than half of the worlds teen suicides are due to bullying. That;s 2,200 lives taken a year! About 30 % of any student body is either the bully or the bullied, and about 160,000 kids stay home from school each day to get away from bullys. 

yet it's one of those problems that will never be resolved. I'm not a pessimist, I mean i'd love for it to end. But i know teenagers, I am one. I know what its like when your 'best friends' become stranger, they will do anything to get back at you, but With boys theres a punch and its over, girls dont fight fair, they gang up, keep secrets, they can take you down with a look. So its not just the loner kid sitting in the back of the class, it could be the most popular guy at school being intimidated by friends and family, or it could be the girl that doesn't stop smiling but is always being judged by her friends. When you think of bullying you dont think of these 2 people you think about the nerd or the loner being pushed around by those bigger than them, but it's not just them. Your best friend could turn into the bully, or they could have always been the bully. It's not just teasing someone, its being spiteful and just downright mean. There will never be a solution, believe me, no one wants a solution more than me. i would do anything for a end to it all.

78% of depressed teens were bullied into depression.

Of those, about half are suicidal

Out of that half, 2 out of 5 will attempt and succeed at suicide.

Thousands of girls in America alone have eating disorders.

Caused from bullying, which is NOT okay.

Many other self-harm because of bullying
